Assessing slope failure of soil erodibility problem by soil dispersive identification

چکیده
Dispersive soils are becoming a common building material. Due to their susceptibility internal erosion and leakage, dispersive should only be used in combination with precise engineering measures avoid catastrophic failures. stabilization is critical has been investigated several studies conducted throughout the world. Erosion significant issue structures built on sloping contours. As was case St. 670+250 Lipat Kajang road Aceh Singkil. Soil happens as result of water’s dispersion transport force. soil one factors that contribute an increase erodibility index. The objective this research develop method for enhancing soil’s qualities. In investigation, specimens were prepared three different mix plans (10%, 20%, 30%) then tested using pinhole. quantity Sta. 670 + 250 - Singkil Regency based results testing soil's properties because area highly dispersive.

Measure Soil Erodibility in Situ
The assessment of the erodibility of soil materials is essential for analyzing and modeling rill, gully, streambed, streambank, spillway, and embankment erosion. A submerged jet−testing apparatus has been developed and used for characterizing soil erodibility in several applications as cited in the literature. The apparatus has been developed based on knowledge of the hydraulic characteristics ...

Impact of land use change on soil erodibility
Vulnerability of soil separates to detachment by water is described as soil erodibility by Universal Soil Loss Equation which can be affected by land use change. In this study it was attempted to quantify the changes of Universal Soil Loss Equation K-factor and its soil driving factors in three land uses including rangeland, rainfed farming, and orchards in Babolrood watershed, northern Iran. S...
متن کاملSoil erosion by assessing hydrothermal conditions of its formation
Soil erosion is one of the vital factors contributing to the loss of fertility and environmental degradation. Generally accepted diagnostics of eroded soils is based on comparison of the sloping soils profile depth with the watershed soils. In this case, there is a separate problem of slope soils with a naturally shortened profile and eroded soils. Formation of the soil’s natura...
متن کاملEvaluation of Soil Erosion and Soil Erodibility Factors for Composted Organics on Highway Right-of-Ways
Runoff and interrill erosion were measured on three composted organics applied at 5-cm and 10-cm depths, a topsoil treatment (15-cm application), and the existing soil on a highway embankment with a 3 to 1 slope. Treatments were tested immediately after preparation and six weeks later to allow for the vegetative cover crop to grow. Rainfall simulations were conducted at an average intensity of ...
